Privacy Policy

MoneyOS does not collect any data. There is no account, no login, and no server belonging to us. This is not a policy about how carefully we handle your information; we never receive it.

What stays on your device

Your transactions, cards, income, commitments, goals, budgets and any documents you import are stored only in MoneyOS’s own storage on your iPhone. They are removed when you delete the app.

What we receive

Nothing. The MoneyOS app makes no network requests to us. The app has no analytics, no crash reporting service, no advertising SDK, and no third-party tracking of any kind. We cannot see your spending, your balances, or that you use the app at all.

iCloud sync (optional, off by default)

If you switch iCloud sync on in Settings, your ledger syncs through your own private iCloud account so your devices stay in step. That data is governed by Apple’s iCloud privacy terms and is not accessible to us. Turning it off keeps everything local.

Artificial intelligence

The questions you ask in the Ask tab, and the parsing of anything you type, say, paste or screenshot, run on Apple’s on-device foundation model. Your text, voice and images are processed on the iPhone and are not sent to us or to any external AI service.

Photos, microphone and files

MoneyOS asks for these only when you use the feature that needs them: picking screenshots, dictating an expense, or importing a statement. The content is read on device to extract transactions and is not uploaded anywhere.

Children

The MoneyOS app is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes it will be because the app’s behaviour changed, and the change will be described here with a new date. The claims above are the standard we hold the app to, not marketing language.

This website

Everything above is about the MoneyOS app. This website is separate: it uses Google Analytics to count visits, such as which pages are read and how often the App Store link is clicked. Google Analytics may set cookies and receives standard browser information such as your approximate location and device type; it is governed by Google’s privacy policy. We use these totals only to understand how the site is used. Nothing from the website reaches the app, and nothing from the app reaches the website. You can block this with any content blocker or Google’s opt-out add-on.
