Common questions

How do I import from PhonePe or Google Pay?

Open the history screen in your payments app and take a screenshot (a few, if you want a month). In MoneyOS tap ⊕, then Photos, and select them. Every row on every screenshot is read into a review list, and nothing saves until you confirm it. You can also copy screenshots and use Paste.

Can it read my SMS automatically?

No. iPhone apps are not permitted to read SMS, by anyone. That is an iOS restriction, not a missing feature. Pasting a bank message, or screenshotting your payments app, is the fastest route available on iOS.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-up and no password, because there is no server to sign in to.

How do I back up, or move to a new phone?

Settings → Back up now writes an encrypted copy you can keep anywhere. Turning on iCloud sync keeps your devices in step through your own iCloud account.

Is my data included in the app’s AI?

The AI runs on Apple’s on-device model. Nothing you type, say or import is sent to us or to any AI provider.

Something is wrong with an imported row

Every import lands in a review list first. Untick what you don’t want, fix what’s wrong, and only then import. Anything already saved can be edited by tapping it on Home.
